They have proven effective in a wide variety of industries, including microelectronics, aerospace, pharmaceutical, military, food, hospitals,  and many others.  A Sticky Mat is a stack of sheets of polyethylene film, with a specially treated pressure sensitive adhesive on one side, upon which persons entering a cleanroom or clean zone walk (and vehicles are rolled) to remove the last trace of contamination on shoe heels and soles, and on wheels. When a sheet becomes loaded with contamination, it is peeled off, exposing a new clean sheet for use, thus eliminating messy and time-consuming cleaning and washing.

Each Sticky Mat is adhered to the floor or to a frame with either 2-in. wide double-faced adhesive tape, or with a full bottom sheet of double-faced adhesive film. A clear release sheet protects the top sheet of the Sticky Mat until it is ready to use. Three levels of tackiness are available. Individual sheets are removed by use of either an uncoated edge, or a cornertab. The cornertabs are consecutively numbered to show the number of remaining sheets, thus providing the economy of only one sheet being removed at a time. The Sticky Mat slip, is non-contaminating, and is available in both standard and custom sizes. Company logos can be provided.

MAKE-UP:
(1) STANDARD PACKS - 120 sheets per package, made up of 4 mats of 30 sheets each, or 6 mats of 20 sheets each.
(2) DOUBLE PACKS - 240 sheets per package, made up of 4 mats of 60 sheets each, or 6 mats of 40 sheets each.
(3) SPECIALTY PACKS - non-standard sizes, number of sheets per mat, and number of mats per package can be made to customer specifications.

SIZES:
(1) STANDARD - 18"x36", 18"x45", 24"x36", 26"x45", 36"x36", 36"x45", 36"x60".
(2) NON-STANDARD - Any size up to 45-in wide x 130-in long, in one piece, or (for economical use and cost of shipping) multiple pieces. (minimum quantities may apply.)

COLORS:
White throughout, Grey throughout, Blue throughout, Clear over white, Clear over Grey, Clear over Blue.

SHEET REMOVAL:
(1) Standard; Integral corner tabs, numbered consecutively to show number of sheets remaining in pad.
(2) Optional: Uncoated strip along one side of each sheet.

FLOOR ATTACHMENT:
(1) Full bottom sheet adhesive coated.
(2) 2-in. strips of double-faced tape.

LOGOS:
Company logos may be inserted to display through mats made up of clear sheets over a colored bottom.

INSTALLATION:
First, remove the protective covering from the adhesive bottom sheet, and lay the mat on the floor or in a frame. Step on the mat (especially the edges) to positively secure it to the floor. Second, remove the protective film on the top of the mat. The mat is now ready for use. When the exposed sheet is contaminated, peel it off and discard it, exposing a new clean sheet for use.
