The foam is an organically stable three dimensional network of interwoven strands with no connection members between strands. They are impervious to water, soaps, detergents, temperature, humidity, oils, and most chemicals and solvents, but are adversely affected by aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatics, strong acids, caustics, and chlorine.

 Wipers/Workmats are efficient for cleaning dry, with soap and water, or with solvents. They trap contaminating particles within their open structure, and their soft texture does not scratch delicate surfaces. They can be used to clean parts, to wipe up liquid spills, for in-cleanroom protective packaging, and for transferring solvents and other liquids to delicate surfaces. When used on a worktable as a work surface, they prevent damage and undesirable movement of parts and allow for easier pickup of small parts with tweezers.

After use, Wipers/Workmats may be laundered and used as an industrial wiper, or as packaging to protect parts during handling or shipping. Custom sizes are available.
